Our History
On the 31st of January 1963, The Alpine Restaurant was opened. Built in the Veale Gardens it was a controversial structure with its design based on Cincinnati's Frisch's Mainliner Restaurant designed by American architect Woodie Garber.
It subsequently was called Pavilion on the Park and in May of 2003 The Adelaide Pavilion opened its doors to the South Australian public.
Although strictly a private function centre, these days the Adelaide Pavilion has created a reputation for being customer focused and providing excellent quality produce prepared to the highest standard.
